CDRRMC Conducts Coordinators’ Training

The City Risk Reduction and Management Council chaired by City Mayor Hon. Azucena P. Huervas through the CDRRMC Executive Officer Mr. Alejandro L. Larosa, Jr. conducted a 2-day Disaster Coordinator’s Training in two batches for the rescue responders of public and private establishments, Government-Owned and Controlled Corporations, hospitals, public and private schools in Valencia City on June 16-17, 2015 at Taipan Hotel and Restaurant, Valencia City.

Ms. Hannah Salvador of PAGASA discussed the hydro-metrological hazards while Mr. Marcial P. Labininay of PHIVOLCS expounded the seismic hazards and Mr. Henry Floy P. Francisco of OCD discussed earthquake orientation, Building –Earthquake- Evaluation Plan- workshop and drill. A total of 149 participants attended the said training.
