As my call to serve and lead the people of the City of Valencia, it is a challenge for me to make the city more progressive. First and foremost, to be able to attain it, I ensure that the employees of the City Government of Valencia serve the people in excellence as true public servants.
Among the many steps I took during my administration, I am encouraged to create a functional website to foster transparency. It is a tool to provide better services to all sectors in the community and it will also encourage public participation. The ultimate aim of this website is that eventually it will become a channel to facilitate business transactions efficiently using secured electronic payment systems.

Digital Library “STARBOOKS” Opens to Serve Public

The Negosyo Center of Valencia City together with the Local Economic and Investment Promotion Office (LIEPO) and Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) is open to serve the public who wants to learn more and conduct research through “STARBOOKS” or the Science and Technology Academic and Research-Based Openly Operated Kiosk Station.

STARBOOKS is a standalone machine where you don’t need an internet to make a research. With the said machine, the public can access to different information such as digital books, scientific journals, investigatory projects, thesis, brochures and videos/audios.

The said system was successfullyinstalled last year by the Department of Science and Technology at the 2nd floor of the Valencia City New Integrated Bus Terminal.

The Negosyo Center of Valencia in supervision with the Department of Trade and Industry also offers free services for Micro Small and Medium Enterprise Entrepreneurs (MSME’s), free trainings and seminars for the enhancement of our local business enthusiasts, Business Name Registration, Barangay Micro Business Enterprise (BMBE) certification, assist potential business and now accepting Applicants for the City Investment Incentive.
