City Mayor of Valencia City

As my call to serve and lead the people of the City of Valencia, it is a challenge for me to make the city more progressive. First and foremost, to be able to attain it, I ensure that the employees of the City Government of Valencia serve the people in excellence as true public servants.
Among the many steps I took during my administration, I am encouraged to create a functional website to foster transparency. It is a tool to provide better services to all sectors in the community and it will also encourage public participation. The ultimate aim of this website is that eventually it will become a channel to facilitate business transactions efficiently using secured electronic payment systems.
It is with great pleasure to welcome you all to the official website of the City of Valencia. Feel free to browse and may it answer specific need of all users.
Thank you.

LGU Valencia Top 2 in 2017 e-Readiness Leadership Award

The City Government of Valencia was recognized for ranking 2nd in the 2017 e-Readiness Leadership Award of the Department of Information and Communication Technology (DICT).

City Councilor Atty. Oliver Owen L. Garcia received the award in behalf of City Mayor Hon. Azucena P. Huervas during the Electronic Business Permit and Licensing System (eBPLS) Summit on July 18, 2017 at Novotel Manila Araneta Center, Quezon City.

The e-readiness Leadership Award is given to Local Chief Executives who are pioneering the adoption and strategic use of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) to enhance their delivery of government services, improve revenue or tax collection efforts and promote transparency in government operations.

Valencia City was one of the 10 cities in the country that was privileged to receive the award and recognized as e-Ready.

The result was based on the 2016 e-Readiness survey conducted by the Department of Information and Communication Technology (DICT), Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), and Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).

Present in the event are DICT Secretary Atty. Rodolfo A. Salalima and Commissioner Monchito Ibrahim.
