City Mayor of Valencia City

As my call to serve and lead the people of the City of Valencia, it is a challenge for me to make the city more progressive. First and foremost, to be able to attain it, I ensure that the employees of the City Government of Valencia serve the people in excellence as true public servants.
Among the many steps I took during my administration, I am encouraged to create a functional website to foster transparency. It is a tool to provide better services to all sectors in the community and it will also encourage public participation. The ultimate aim of this website is that eventually it will become a channel to facilitate business transactions efficiently using secured electronic payment systems.
It is with great pleasure to welcome you all to the official website of the City of Valencia. Feel free to browse and may it answer specific need of all users.
Thank you.
~City Mayor Azucena P. Huervas

The activity was conducted pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No. 1021, dated July 9, 1997, and the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of the National Blood Service Act of 1994.

The observance aims to build public awareness of the need for quality and safe blood, honor and recognize blood donors, and encourage regular blood donation.

The bloodletting activity was led to meet the increasing demand for blood and augment the national blood requirement of the constituents in the city.

Mr. Abe P. Gillaco, MPA, CGDH-HRMO who spoke in behalf of the City Mayor, Hon. Azucena P. Huervas, in his message, he thanked the Provincial Health Office and Bukidnon Provincial Medical Center for collaborating with City Health Office in spearheading a very meaningful activity as more constituents of Valencia are benefiting the donated blood especially during emergencies.

“Giving blood is giving a part of your life, and with this, it is my honor to say ‘thank you” to all employees and participants who donated blood today,” Gillaco said.

The bloodletting activity was graced by Dr. Juniver G. Flores, MPH, EMT, Medical Officer IV, Joefelyn R. Caluya, Med-Tech III and the Blood-letting Team of CHO, Valencia City, Personnel from Provincial Health Office and Bukidnon Provincial Medical Center with Medical Technologists Joseph Marben D.
