As my call to serve and lead the people of the City of Valencia, it is a challenge for me to make the city more progressive. First and foremost, to be able to attain it, I ensure that the employees of the City Government of Valencia serve the people in excellence as true public servants.
Among the many steps I took during my administration, I am encouraged to create a functional website to foster transparency. It is a tool to provide better services to all sectors in the community and it will also encourage public participation. The ultimate aim of this website is that eventually it will become a channel to facilitate business transactions efficiently using secured electronic payment systems.

Mayor Huervas Allocates 1.5M for Sinayawan Brgy Hall

Valencia City, Bukidnon, February 17, 2017 - City Mayor Azucena Panes Huervas allocates 1.5M to the barangay government of Sinayawan for the continuation of the construction of its new and bigger Barangay Hall located near its Covered Court where the 4th Serbisyong Tinabangay 2017 was held last February 17, 2017.

Upon seeing the unfinished building of new Barangay Hall, Mayor Huervas said, "Kanang building para sa inyong bag-ong barangay hall nga dako dako pa ang trabahoon aron mahuman, ako magahatag og 1.5M para maipadayon ang pagpatrabaho niana ug dali mahuman tungod kay duol namo sa akong dughan ug gusto usab nako nga aduna akoy handumanan dinhi sa panahon sa akong administrasyon."

Barangay Captain Jose Sison joyfully thanked the City Mayor for the abundant blessings his barangay received on that day - 1.5M for barangay hall, free mass wedding of 34 pairs of new couples, free food packs to all residents, free Land Titles, Free Raffle Giveaways, Free Kiddie Kits, Free Massage, Free Haircut and many more front line services delivered by different offices of city government.

He added, "Bulahan gayod kitang taga Sinayawan kay pinangga kita sa atong inahan sa siyudad nga mao mismo ang nanguna aron ihatod dinhi kanato ang daghang grasya ug ialagad kanato ang mga serbisyo nga atong gikinahanglan nga kining tanan libre. Busa dili gayod nato mahikalimtan si Mayor Azucena P. Huervas."
