Valencia City Assessor's Office Bags Recognition in Regional Performance Evaluation

The Valencia City Assessor's Office was recognized by the Bureau of Local Government Finance (BLGF) through the Regional Association of Treasurers and Assessors of Region 10 for its accomplishments and rendered services for the year 2015.

Several recognitions were given to the said office due to its untiring profound dedication and wholehearted support in the effort of registering an increase number of Real Property Units, updating of Schedule of Market Values, prompt reportorial compliance and regular attendance of quarterly conferences.

Mr. Arnold R. Azucena, City Assessor, said that the city was also ranked at 6th place among LGUs in the region for registering an increase Total Assessed Value at 9.53% in the real property assessment valuation for CY 2015.

This also means that the office were able to comply and meet the target assessment for tax declarations.

Azucena stated that they were able to meet such accomplishments through the unwavering support of City Mayor Azucena P. Huervas together with the local assessment personnel of the city.

The said recognition was given on August 24, 2016 during the 2015 Local Treasurers and Assessors Performance Evaluation and Recognition of Revenue Generation Top Performers held at Cagayan de Oro City.
