To ensure that marginalized individuals in the city are provided with the necessary auxiliary services that will restore their social functioning and participation in community affairs, the City Government of Valencia through the City Social Welfare and Development Office extended free wheelchair assistance to the indigent Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) in the city.

The program was funded by the City Government- support to PWDs under the Relief and Rehabilitation Division of the CSWDO.

The City Government through the City Social Welfare and Development shall develop and implement programs on auxiliary social services that respond to the needs of marginalized disabled persons, for this is in line with the vision of our Local Chief Executive,” Duron said.
