Valencia City holds GMRC Seminar for Motorela Drivers and Operators

The Valencia City Traffic Management Center once again conducted another Good Manners and Right Conduct Seminar for motorela drivers and operators on February 11 and 12, 2016 at the ABC Hall.

The event aims to ensure that all motorela drivers and operators in the city are fully equipped with adequate knowledge, skills, and right attitude in dealing with their customers.

Ms. Wanlyn Barete of City Traffic Management Center Office said that the seminar is also intended for those motorela drivers and operators who were not able to attend the same seminar last October 20 to 29, 2015.

Ms. Barete added that the participants were immersed in various topics which are beneficial in their daily dealings as drivers and operators.

Ms. Grace A. Dapanas, AO V and Division In-Charge of Business Permits and Licensing Division of the Office of the City Administrator discussed topics with regards to business and licensing concerns. It includes the process on how to apply for a franchise case number including ways on how to apply for a motorela permit.

Forester Julius Parian, City Environment and Natural Resources Officer, talked about the Ecological and Solid Waste Management concerns and RA 9003 or the Solid Waste Management Act of 2000.

Mr. Ruel Visitacion, Traffic Operation Officer III, discussed the traffic ordinances of the city while SPO4 Joaquin Mananggit of the Highway Patrol Group, discussed the basic traffic safety.

The seminar became successful which was attended by all motorela association in the city.
