Serbisyong Tinabangay para sa Barangay 2016 Launched





VALENCIA CITY, BUKIDNON - As part of the vision of the City Government of Valencia to ensure the delivery of basic services to all the constituents of Valencia City from all walks of life as mandated by law, the Local Chief Executive of Valencia City, Hon. Azucena P. Huervas together with the Sangguniang Panlunsod headed by City Vice Mayor Hon. Rolando P. Laviña and launched this year’s Serbisyong Tinabangay para sa Barangay 2016.

As Valencia City is comprised of 31 barangays while some are urbanized and some are strategically situated in far-flung areas, the City Government of Valencia strategized a scheme to bring the government’s services closer to the people and in the comfort of their own barangays.

As cited in Section 17 of the Local Government Code for the Basic Services and Facilities, Local Government Units shall endeavor to be self-reliant and shall continue exercising the powers and discharging the duties and functions currently vested upon them.

The basic services provided by the LGU are spearheaded by the following Offices:

    • To disseminate information about the zoning guidelines
    • Gather relevant data at the barangay level
