The Seminar-Workshop on the Formulation of GAD Agenda CY 2024-2026 resulted to a productive outcome and fostered the participants in creating Gender-based issues from their respective sectors. It was participated by the GFPS EXECOM, TWG, Department Heads, Civil Society Organizations, City Councilors and GAD Office Staff.

 

The said acitivity envisions a gender responsive city through the formulation of quality programs and activities that would alleviate the sectors that need the support of the Gender and Development Plan.

 

Ms. Reina P. Olivar, Resource Person Manager, RP Olivar Management and Consultancy Services, Member, PCW GAD Resource Pool - Batch 3, GESI Specialist was the keynote speaker. She was assisted by the PCW-NMFO X Chief GAD Specialist, Atty. Khristine Kay M. Lazarito-Calingin, Regional Pool of GAD Resource Person (RPGRP) Batch 1, Ms. Shaunell Mary J. Sayson, Mr. Emenheil Earl A. Edulsa and Ms. Editha D. Naldo.

 

In addition, LGOO VII/Head, DILG South Cluster, Glenda Hope A. Beley contributed to the role of DILG in overseeing the GAD Plan and Budget, GBP Monitoring System.

Overall, the three day Seminar Worksop was successfully conducted and made the participants wise, knowledgeable, and prepared for the upcoming GAD Planning and Budgeting CY 2024.
