Seal of Good Local Governance Awards
The Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) Award is a national recognition given by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) to Local Government Units that demonstrate excellence in governance, transparency, accountability, and service delivery. It is awarded to LGUs that meet high standards in key areas such as financial management, disaster preparedness, social services, environmental management, peace and order, and economic competitiveness. The SGLG affirms an LGU’s commitment to good governance and makes awardees eligible for performance-based development incentives.
